宜蘭縣人口超過45萬，其中因工作及婚姻來台的外籍人士約6%，以東南亞人士居多。
除了美味的泰式、越南料理，爺爺、奶奶的照護阿姨、工地裡的外勞朋友外，你可曾好奇他們來自何方？為什麼來？離鄉背井後是否完成了當初的夢想？又或者，美麗的頭巾為何而帶？種種香料如何變成美味的料理？
漂浮的家影像故事分享會透過採訪，看見東南亞朋友的故事，並結合分享會、座談、家鄉菜與東南亞市集，帶來更多的文化面相。讓我們透過影像故事打開想像，使每個人生中的偶遇具象化為真實。
The population of Yilan County is over 450,000, including 6% of foreigners staying for work or marriage, and most of them came from South-east Asia. Besides thinking of the tasty Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, the in-home caregivers, the construction workers, have you ever been curious about where do they come from? The reason why they came here? Have their dreams come true? Or, what’s the story of the beautiful kerchief? How do they well use the spices on cooking?
“Come Across” is a sharing event, which discovers the stories of South-east Asian migrants through interviews, combining talks, cooking and a market, to amaze the participants with different perspectives of culture. Through the stories behind images, we open up our imagination toward the world, transform every encounter into the long-standing relationship.
